Kurdistan region, Iraq.

MHF is committed to bolstering the healthcare sector in the region, recognizing its crucial role and the challenges it faces. On February 24, 2022, MHF took significant steps by providing essential medical equipment such as beds, crutches, wheelchairs, and medical toilet seats to the Kurdish Red Crescent organization. This initiative not only supports the local health sector but also extends a helping hand to Syrian refugees.

In furthering its commitment to health and safety, MHF distributed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Kits to various institutions. On February 17, 2022, PPE Kits, including 4 thermometers and 4 fingertip pulse oximeters, were supplied to the University of Kirkuk – Faculty of Law and Political Science. Additionally, on March 9, 2022, MHF delivered PPE Kits, comprising 180 boxes of masks, 48 medical face shields, and 29 medical gowns, to the Peshmerga Health Agency and Hope "Hiwa" Hospital.
As part of its continuous efforts, MHF donated 20 boxes of masks to Kara Organization in Kirkuk on January 20, 2022. These initiatives underscore MHF's dedication to supporting healthcare institutions and ensuring the well-being of the community.
