MHF's Literary Support Initiative: Promoting Authors and Libraries

In a dedicated endeavor to strengthen the literary community and extend support to the accomplished authors and agencies participating in the Sulaymaniyah International Book Fair, MHF took a proactive step. By procuring books from local bookshops, MHF not only contributed to the sustenance of local businesses but also embarked on a mission to redistribute this literary wealth.

The acquired books, carefully curated to encompass a diverse range of genres and perspectives, were then thoughtfully disseminated. In a strategic move to broaden access and encourage a culture of reading, MHF distributed these literary treasures to 53 public libraries scattered across the Kurdistan region in November 2021.

This initiative goes beyond the mere transaction of books; it reflects MHF's unwavering commitment to cultivating a vibrant literary environment. By ensuring the availability of diverse literature in public spaces, MHF aims to stimulate intellectual curiosity, foster a love for reading, and fortify the foundations of a flourishing literary culture within the community. As MHF continues to champion these efforts, the impact reverberates, contributing to a more enlightened and culturally rich society.
